Four years ago I n a galaxy far, far, away... a Jedi was born, his name is Henry and he is strong with the force. Our little man Henry turned 4 reently and we decided to celebrate Star Wars style with a small group of family and close friends. This theme was so fun to bring alive and the kids had a blast being Jedi's for th
For my 30th Birthday I had the blessing to go on a long weekend roadtrip with my husband. The time away from the kids, work and our long list of house projects with refreshing. We took our time driving down the Washington and Oregon Coast. We made stops along the way and took our time taking in the natural beauty the Pacific Coast has to offer.
When I think of fun, I immediately jump to walking down the aisles of target with no children drinking a Starbucks Latte. I love Target, Target is my jam. As you probably can tell, my home is full of fun Target finds and I love that they refresh their offerings seasonly. In my Target Tuesday series I will share my findings in those joyful walks up and down those aisles (just in case you don't have the same opportunity).

As most of us have probably heard Joanna and Chip Gaines have recently done a collaboration with Target to release their Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection coming up on November 11th. Who has already marked their calendars and planned to wake up at midnight to ensure they get their favorite before they sell out?! I have... I am expecting Black Friday level sell outs here people.
It's now November 1st, Halloween is in the rear view mirror. It is time to put away the skulls and spiders and start the transition into Thanksgiving. It is a little tricky with the timing because you are moving out of fall, halloween is over and the okay for Christmas is about a month away. What to do with those three 1/2 weeks before you deck the halls for Christmas? I have some ideas for you.
Halloween is just around the corner, have you decorated your house yet? If you have already decorated for fall you will likely have a selection of pumpkins picked out; build on that. Transitioning to Halloween is fun and easy!
On Saturday we wear pajamas; sometimes for the whole day. After a long week of work and school we love to stay cozy in comfy organic cotton pajamas. Comfort is our number one priority but cute patterns is a close second. This past Saturday was no exception, the kiddos played all day in their Wilson & Frenchy pajamas from Purely Loved Organics. They built blocks, played with trains, and snacked on adorable cookies from Jenny's Cookie Bakeshop.
Happy Friday Friends! My favorite fall tradition is heading to the pumpkin patch with the family. We had a blast roaming the field searching for the perfect pumpkin, hiding in the corn stocks and playing with cousins. If you live in Washington you should check out Craven Farms in Snohomish; you can make a day of the trip to the patch with lots of fun activities for kids of all ages.
Two years ago I received my first day designer; it was the best gift I could have received at a point in my life where I strived for more organization and balance. The day designer added a structure to both my work and home life. It gave me space to put my goals and dreams on paper and outlined the steps I needed to take to make incremental progress. It gave me room to plan vacations and remember birthdays. I started planning my weeks on Sundays and became a more organized mom. I started to plan my meals out in advance enabling me to become a more efficient shopper.
