Back when my husband and I walked into our now fixer upper home there were two agreements we made 1. completely new kitchen 2. paint the cedar ceiling (more on that later). As we near the end of our main floor renovation I wanted to share my design inspiration around our kitchen.
I had a lot of fun working with Building Source Inc. on Whidbey Island on the design and cool custom elements we were able to add in. If you are building in the area please check them out, they do a lot more then just cabinets!
We were limited by the space from our kitchen due to the original layout for the home (no room to expand). We focused on maximizing space with lots more uppers and drawers on the bottom.
I wanted the timeless feel of white Cabinets with a custom hood feature. Mike at building source suggested a garbage and spice cabinet; such a great idea. We chose Columbia Cabinets in the French White color.
